MDHCV is no longer accepting applications for the Project-Based Voucher (PBV) Site-Based Waitlists at this time. 

This phase of the application process was exclusively for individuals currently on the 2024 Tenant-Based Waiting List for the Section 8 Housing Choice Voucher program, who were given the opportunity to apply for priority placement in accordance with federal regulation 24 CFR 983.251(c)(6). 

The PBV Site-Based Waitlists will reopen at a later date for the general public to apply. Please continue to check the MDHCV website for updates and future application opportunities.

If you have already submitted an application, your PBV Site-Based Waitlists status will be available by April 28, 2025.

MDHCV will be giving priority to serving families who meet the admission preferences. The preferences include:

• Terminated due to Insufficient Funding by PHCD
• Displacement due to Natural Disaster
• Displacement Due to Government Action
• Veterans
• Miami-Dade County Residency Preference 

Applicants will be required to provide proof of admission preferences at their initial eligibility appointment. Failure to provide proof will result in the applicant family being placed back on to the waiting list.
